We like to think that the universe is not random and that we were put here with some mission to accomplish before returning ‘home’.
Some of us are aware that their lives have meaning and are living to improve the world and those who populate it.
Isaac Newton once said: “If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.“
But then what should we do to achieve our ‘mission’ here on earth?
Ask yourself these questions, they will help to raise your vibration and open a new world within you.
1. What makes you happy?
This is a pretty simple question, although it is sometimes difficult to give an answer. What makes you really happy? Does your present job make you happy? Or is it simply a means to earn money?
2. What do you want to do?
Is there something you want to do, but you don’t believing that you can’t? Is there something else you’d rather do instead of what you do now? What would you do if money was not an issue?
3. What makes you lose track of time?
What is the thing you love to do so much that the hours fly and you never have enough time to invest in this activity? When you really enjoy doing something, time ceases to exist.
4. What are you good at?
If you’re good at a particular job, it would never be a waste of time doing! What comes naturally to do? Are you a leader? A good speaker? Listen to the people and tips? Are you good at maths?
Ask yourself what you do best. Is there something in which you excel? Discovering your talents can create the change you are looking for.
5. On what do other people trust you?
Is there anything for which people have always asked for your help? Maybe that tells you what you should do in your life.
6. What are your values?
There is a cause that aligns particularly with your values and beliefs? Perhaps you feel that something important has been overlooked by everyone else. Maybe there is injustice in the world and want to change the situation.
Maybe the homeless, the abandoned animals, poverty, inequality, war, hunger … Maybe it’s this exactly where your vocation lies.
7. What are you willing to fight for?
What is the thing that you want to spend your time on, even if limited? For what are you willing to face challenges and head-on to overcome obstacles with perseverance and determination?
8. What are you willing to sacrifice?
Are you willing to give up the time you have for a greater purpose? Personal relationships? The children? The animals? Money? What do you feel so passionately to be willing to sacrifice yourself to reach your goals?
How much are you willing to do to get what you believe can change your whole life, and the lives of those around you?
9. What stops you?
What is it that keeps you from following your dreams? Is it just the fear? What exactly prevents you from reaching the goal of your life?
10. What do you want to be remembered for?
Most of us will live and die in the shadows. But if you were to be remembered from humanity and history, what would you want to be remembered for?
11. If you died tomorrow, What would you regret not doing?
If you found out today that tomorrow you will die and you had the opportunity to express one last wish before dying, what would that be? Is there anything that you feel you have left undone?
